Earthy, dark-bronze foliage provides the perfect foil for this flaming beauty! Initially lime green at budburst, these stunning blooms catch fire and white flowers edged with deep red come to the fore from mid-to-late summer. The ember glow of ‘Light My Fire’ eventually dies down and the blooms fade to white as they age. The fiery show begins again in autumn as the foliage turns red and gold.
- Garden care: Improve the soil prior to planting by adding plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost, adding mycorrhizal fungi (Root grow) to aid establishment. Alternatively, plant in patio containers in soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
- Humans: Skin allergen; Pets: Harmful if eaten
